Our latest collaborator, critically-acclaimed musician Edward W Hardy, added a sophisticated and elevated experience to our ARTIVISM831 event, demonstrating his singular talents on the “black violin.” Edward collaborated with ARTBYJCON in the promotional campaign “Coloring the World,” serving as the launch of a new apparel collection in all the ARTBYJCON brands. Apparel from the campaign was made available exclusively at the ARTIVISM831 pop-up shop.
The "Coloring the World" promotional campaign highlighted Edward’s talents in a short promo video where he gave a preview of his original song “Evolution.” The uplifting piece of music was released simultaneously with ARTIVISM831 on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and Youtube.
The music aligned perfectly with the messages of the ARTBYJCON brand as it was inspired by the Evolution of Black Music. It was composed and performed for the Congressional Black Caucus at The Howard Theatre; part of the opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
