A dynamic followup to the successful FACES511 (https://www.artbyjcon.com/exhibition/faces511) showcase, ARTBYJCON and team are pleased to announce the next exhibition is here and this time we're coming to HARLEM, NYC.
Drawing inspiration from themes of deep vulnerability, inner-strength, empowerment and cultural awareness, Javon Conaway brings an ambitious collection of new works with a goal of unifying art and activism--Artivism831. Featuring subjects both fictional and inspired, the individuals depicted are used to tell stories incorporating the core themes of the show. Bold and colorful, the pieces evoke powerful emotions, leaving viewers with a sense of hope and pride.
Artivism sets off to expand upon other endeavors of Conaway’s enterprise “ARTBYJCON,” featuring a pop-up shop showcasing eclectic apparel and merchandising from the retail side of the brand, as well as collaborations focused on music, foods, beverages and community. Conaway also looks to grow the “events” platform by combining an art exhibition with a trendy and sophisticated day-party vibe.
Tickets include entry to the gallery and pop-up shop, open bar, and small bites.
