Urban, inclusive, provocative, disruptive and communal, ARTBYJCON is taking an innovative approach to define what it means to be a working artist in the 21st century.
The Events and Marketing Intern will become an integral part of the ARTBYJCON team and receive professional and hands-on experience in event planning, promotion and coordination. As an intern, you will work with the team to ensure a successful and well-attended event, and interact with business partners to develop and strengthen relationships. As a startup in the creative industry, we encourage interns to use innovative practices and disruptive technology to increase our brand outreach and footprint. Success in this role requires a strong work-ethic, self-starter
ambition and the ability to plan an initiative or project and see it through to completion.
1. What Will You Learn
How to use multiple methods of communication to promote an event
How to coordinate the various stages of an event from planning to tear-down
How to work with vendors to secure sponsors
2. Your Responsibilities
Promote and market company events to increase ticket sales
Correspond with vendors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and supplies
Assist the team with event setup and tear down
3. Your Qualifications
Prefer candidates with a strong interest in art and events
Must be reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule
Must communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, and via email
